How a purchase works, how your artwork travels to you, and the terms that protect both of us.
Every acquisition begins with a personal conversation. Because each piece is one of a kind — or a carefully produced print — I like to accompany every purchase myself.
Each print is sent to print after your order is confirmed; this production stage takes approximately 3–5 business days. Once ready, the artwork is shipped via DHL courier, rolled in a secure, archival-quality protective tube to ensure it arrives in perfect condition.
Shipping cost is calculated according to the destination country and is based directly on DHL's current rates, so it varies from country to country. The exact shipping cost for your destination will be confirmed before payment.
Every shipment can be sent with full DHL insurance. At checkout you may choose to ship with or without insurance — a choice that affects how a lost or damaged parcel is handled (see the terms below).
Every order — original or print — arrives with a signed certificate of authenticity and an authenticity seal (prints carry a numbered seal), confirming the work was created by the artist.
Every shipment is offered with DHL insurance, and the buyer chooses at the time of purchase whether to ship with or without it. Where a shipment is insured and a parcel is lost or damaged in transit through the fault of the courier, the compensation or refund is provided by DHL in accordance with their policy. Where the buyer chooses to ship without insurance, the artist cannot be held responsible for loss or damage that occurs in transit.
Estimated production and delivery times are provided in good faith but are not guaranteed. Delays caused by the courier, by customs, or by circumstances beyond the artist's control — including any security situation in Israel — are not the responsibility of the artist. Please allow for such constraints when ordering, particularly for time-sensitive occasions.
Any import duties, taxes or customs fees levied by the destination country are the responsibility of the buyer and are not included in the price of the artwork or the shipping cost.
A return may be requested within 30 days of the date the artwork is received. A refund is granted only on the condition that the artwork is returned to the artist whole and intact, in exactly the same condition in which it was received. Return shipping is arranged by and at the expense of the buyer, and the artwork must be packaged to the same protective standard in which it arrived. Once the returned work is received and inspected, the refund will be issued.
Each work is created by hand, and screens vary in how they display colour. Slight variations between the image shown online and the artwork received are natural and are not grounds for a refund.
All artworks, images and texts on this site remain the intellectual property of the artist Liza Maman. Purchasing a work grants ownership of the physical piece, not the reproduction rights to its image.
